AI Search Visibility

Twelve to twenty percent of search
now happens inside an AI assistant.

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews are answering customer questions about who to call for your trade. Ninety-three percent of those sessions never click through to a website. If you're not the name that gets said, you weren't even in the running. I'll audit how your business shows up across all four, then install the four fixes that close the gap.

A real artifact, not
another monitoring dashboard.

Your visibility, query by query

I run your top three to five trade-and-city queries through ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews. You get a side-by-side report of where you appear, where a competitor appears instead, and why.

The four signals that move it

LocalBusiness schema, AI-crawler permissions in robots.txt, the entity facts an assistant reads first, and the /llms.txt site index assistants use to decode your page in a single fetch. I check all four.

The fixes installed, not just listed

Audits that hand you a list and walk away aren't worth the paper. I install tightened LocalBusiness schema, an explicit AI-bot allow in robots.txt, an entity-fact rewrite, and a /llms.txt. On your site, before delivery.

A 30-day re-check

Thirty days after delivery, I re-run the same queries and send you the diff. Did the fixes move you? If a query still doesn't surface you, I fix it or refund that portion. No extra invoice.

Where the AI quotes come from

AI assistants summarize from a handful of websites per topic. I pull the actual sources cited when ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Claude answer questions in your industry, mark two or three that look reachable, and send you a contact list plus example messages you can adapt. The outreach is on you, or someone you hire. You get the data and the next step.

I ran it on my own site.
Then I fixed mine. Let me fix yours.

Before I sold this audit to anyone, I ran it on stratosreach.com. The result is below, verbatim, no edits. Then I shipped the four fixes to my own site on 2026-06-04, before listing this tier publicly. If I'm going to charge you to find your gap, I should publish my own — and close it.

stratosreach.com — AI Search Visibility Audit (2026-06-04)

Google SERP — 5 queries tested, 0 surfaced my site in the top 10:

  • "lead lists for sealcoating contractors Pacific Northwest" — invisible. Top results: contractors themselves, NAPC Directory, ConstructConnect.
  • "flat fee GBP rescue Kent WA trades business" — invisible. SERP hijacked by flat-fee MLS real estate results. The word "flat-fee" was hurting me, not helping.
  • "verified parking lot lead list sealcoating Pierce County WA" — invisible. Top results: sealcoating contractors plus a lead-platform competitor.
  • "local SEO audit trades contractors no retainer" — invisible. Top results: four competing agencies.
  • "StratosReach" (my own brand name) — invisible. Google returned results about the stratosphere — the atmospheric layer. My own brand search did not surface my domain on page one.

On-site signals — three of four needed work:

  • robots.txt: clean, allows all crawlers, references the sitemap. ✓
  • /llms.txt: did not exist. 404. ✗
  • LocalBusiness schema: present but typed as ProfessionalService, area served set to "United States" (too broad for a local business), street address and postal code missing, no offer catalog, no price range. ✗
  • Entity facts: the schema description led with "Flat-fee lead lists" — the same phrasing that was hijacking my Google SERP toward MLS real estate. An AI assistant reading that snippet first gets the wrong category. ✗

The four fixes I shipped to my own site, 2026-06-04 — before listing this tier publicly:

  1. Schema swapped from ProfessionalService to LocalBusiness. Postal code added. Area served narrowed from "United States" to King, Pierce, Snohomish, and Thurston counties. A full offer catalog added with all twelve SKUs and prices, so an assistant reading the page knows what's for sale without guessing. ✓
  2. Explicit AI-bot allow in robots.txt for GPTBot, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot, anthropic-ai, CCBot, Google-Extended, and Applebot-Extended. The default-allow was fine until a platform shifts to default-deny. Explicit is safer. ✓
  3. Schema description rewritten. First 160 characters now lead with "StratosReach" plus the service plus Pacific Northwest geography. Dropped the "flat-fee" lede that was getting the page categorized as flat-fee MLS real estate. ✓
  4. Hand-curated /llms.txt installed at the site root. About 60 lines: name, primary services with prices, service-area counties, what we do, what we don't do, contact paths. View it →

The 30-day re-check is on my calendar for 2026-07-04. I'll publish the diff on this page. If a query still doesn't surface my site, I'll publish the next round of fixes too — and I'm holding myself to the same refund clause I offer you.

That's the work. Let me run it on your business → Get Started — $497

Agencies are charging a thousand
to twenty-five hundred a month for this.

"GEO" and "AEO" packages from larger marketing agencies typically run $1,000 to $2,500 per month, and most of that fee is the dashboard, not the work. You're paying for a monitoring tool subscription wrapped in agency service hours. I sell you the report and the fixes, once, at a quarter of that price — and I don't bill you next month.

Agency GEO/AEO retainer

$1,000-$2,500/month, ongoing. Most of the value is the dashboard you log into. The fixes happen slowly because the dashboard's revenue depends on you keeping the subscription.

My AI Search Visibility Audit

$497 one-time. You get the report, the four fixes installed, and a 30-day re-check. No dashboard, no subscription, no next-month invoice. If you want a second pass in six months, you pay for a second pass.

One flat fee.
Audit and fixes, both.

One-time purchase · No retainer needed · 5-7 business day delivery · 30-day re-check included

This audit credits toward the SEO Rescue. If you start with my $497 AI Search Visibility Audit and upgrade to the $1,495 SEO Rescue within 60 days, the audit price applies dollar-for-dollar. You pay $998, not $1,992.

Common questions.

Yes. The $297 SEO Audit covers traditional Google ranking signals (title tags, meta, page speed, schema, local listings) and hands you a list of fixes you implement yourself. This audit covers AI search specifically — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews — and I install the four fixes for you. Different surface, different deliverable. If you want both, the AI Search audit credits toward the $1,495 SEO Rescue, so the cleanest path is to start here, then upgrade.
Yes. The four fixes are installed on your site — schema, robots.txt, meta description, /llms.txt — so I need editor access to whichever platform you're on. Most platforms (WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, Shopify, custom) take five minutes to grant and five minutes to revoke. I revoke my own access the day the work ships.
The 30-day re-check is the honest test. If the same query that didn't surface you in the audit still doesn't surface you 30 days after the fixes, I either ship a second round of fixes at no charge or refund the portion of the audit tied to that query. You don't pay twice for the same gap.
Partially. AI assistants need a few weeks of crawl history to learn a new site. If yours has been live less than 60 days, the audit can still install the four fixes, but the re-check is less meaningful — there hasn't been enough time for the assistants to re-crawl. I'll either delay the re-check until day 90 or recommend you start with a Quick Page + this audit as a bundle once it's been live a couple months.
Yes. The same 60-day rule as the regular SEO Audit. Upgrade to SEO Rescue within 60 days and the $497 applies dollar-for-dollar. Net spend across both: $1,495, same as the Rescue list price.
No, and nobody honest can. ChatGPT and the other assistants pick what to surface from their own crawl and ranking — I don't run them. What I can guarantee is the four fixes are installed correctly, the entity facts say what they're supposed to say, and the 30-day re-check tells you whether it moved the needle. If it didn't, see the question above about the refund.
